Language of Cinema Studio

Oh ah half of the classes listed on my page dont really have the "Studio" at the end...i just like the way it sounds haha. This was my favorite class of the symmester with out a doubt. It was kind of funny though because the teacher seemed almost as care free as me haha. I mean we didnt get half of our papers back until two classes before the symmester was over haha. It didn't bother me any though because i know how it is...well maybe if i did bad on them then it would have bothered me. Basically this class was about films and the different aspects that are communicated through them... in a sense kind of like time studio from a "third person" point of view. We watched film normally between two class periods becaus we were in this tiny ass classroom...well it wasnt small just too many people in one place at the same time. As we viewed the films we were asked to analyze and look for certain scenes of each. Normally with each film there was a central topic that movie seemed to specialize or dominate in (communication, props, sound, and a few more that i forgot). films: the piano, one flew from the cuckoo's nest, 2001, the apartment, hll in the pacific. i might be working on an animation that i probably wouldnt be able to take part in if it wasnt for this class.

Time Studio

I like this class. I never had a class this great in my life!!! Haha naw i'm playing it is an interesting field though. I had to consider a lot of things that were necesseties in my chosen line of work that i previously never even thought of. When i say this i'm talking about things like presentation, editing completed work, camera angles, and sound (even though i didnt use any i did make an attempt haha). The only thing i wished is that i'd made more of an effort in some well all of the assignments. But what can i say it was a learning experience. Some of the assignments seemed questionable after first being presented, but after intiating the project i think i understood the knowledge being passed along. I never had a class that talked so haha. It was cool though...it kept my interest from time to time. Im playing haha it was an interesting group of people to be around though... especially at 9am in the morning. i know never really talked to anybody in this class but for whatever reason it is that your in college i hope you succeed in your goals. and Rosemary hell yea i hope you enjoy your trip to Cali!!! haha

Psychology Studio

The first thing i have to say is this is the funniest teacher I've ever had in my life. I mean this dude used to come in the auditorium and start sweating for no apparent reason. He used to trip over stuff all the time, and say random things that were funny as hell. I'd give an example but my memories not that good so i just remember laughing alot. I never talked to him educationally or personally, but to me he wasn't a very affective instructor...at least not verbally anyway. It was hard to decipher what was required knowledge and what was him just talking. I think he was more of a practicer than a teacher. I did learn alot in this class that i plan to incorporate in my own personal work...and i probably should have never dropped that class.

Drawing Studio

Overall I'd have to say it was a cool class. We drew...a lot. I think I'm tired of drawing now...well I'm tired of everything. I'm just a lazy individual. I did learn a few new things educational wise and self wise. For one I've learned more effective drawing techniques. But now I'm not sure if i really want to go to school for animation...I'd rather be the person coming up with the ideas than the person drawing somebody else's ideas. For one i learned that i don't like the phrase " take it to the next level" since it seems that's all i was ever told to do. "Its a good start jevon, but take it to the next level! The contrast is good jevon but take it to the next level! its well drawn overall but take it to the next level! i see your tying your shoes jevon but next time take it to the next level! you're doing a good job brushing your hair jevon but take it to the next level! its nice that you started your car just remember to take it to the next level!" Okay maybe I'm exaggerating a little, i just saw that i was on a roll and had fun making stuff up. But she was a great teacher...i still hope she doesn't find out i was making fun her though haha.
